Büyükada Taş Mektep The building, which was built as the summer house of Alexandria Patriarch Sofronios in the 1870s, served as Büyükada Primary School (Taş Mektep) between 1922 and 1967.
The restoration work of the Büyükada Taş Mektep Building, which remained idle for many years, started in 2021 and the restoration work was completed in 2023.
